![]() Servicepower’s very own Brad Hawkins gears up to take on the Brighton Marathon in the UK on April 18th 2010. 22 January 2010 – What started off as a light-hearted conversation between two men saw one of them walk away and straight into a grueling 26 mile challenge. However, Brad Hawkins, VP, Operations of Servicepower is not one to back down from a challenge, and he has been training hard these past few months, as he prepares to fly to the UK all the way from Costa Mesa, California to take part in this year’s Brighton Marathon on April 18th. “Training is tough, but at the same time, it’s very exciting stuff. My first visit to the UK and I am also running a marathon too!" commented Brad. Brad will raise money for Cancer Research UK, the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. "I think what Brad is doing is simply amazing. 26 miles is no small feat, but we've every confidence in him" commented Mark Duffin, CEO of Servicepower (and also Brad’s challenger!). To support Brad in aid of Cancer Research UK check out Brad’s sponsor page www.runningsponsorme.org/bradhawkins or keep track of his progress by checking out his blog bradhawkinsmarathon.blogspot.com Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research.
